Description

Building with Insulating Blocks Ytong aerated autoclaved concrete is a solid construction material. It is produced ecologically using the raw materials, sand, lime and water with addition of cement and an air entraining agent. The fine pore structure provides optimum thermal insulation. With a Lambda value of up to 0.08 W/mK Ytong insulating blocks have one of the best insulating factors of all solid construction materials. This makes it possible to build energy-saving, monolithic and solid exterior wall constructions without any additional thermal insulation. These structures go beyond the standard specified by the current Energy Savings Regulation and today already provide the basis for the requirements of the future. With Ytong aerated autoclaved concrete Xella offers a complete line of products for construction of single family houses, townhouses and multiple family residences. The Ytong module system consists of individual elements for exterior and interior walls as well as for ceilings and roofs. They are perfectly matched to one another from basement to roof and can be joined so they are absolutely impervious to air and wind. Ytong is easy to process. This guarantees rapid construction progress and maximum economy. The high heat storage capacity of Ytong aerated autoclaved concrete provides a pleasant room climate and compensates for temperature variations
