Zinc standing seam roofing
Double standing seam and angled standing seam is the most popular system in roofings. It can be applied without any problem and in various ways, regardless of the architectural shape. Mechanical shaping and standing seam provide high aesthetical quality and uniformity in the shape of longitudinal joints. Seam roofings are rainproof within the limits of their gradient. The thickness of the finished seam can be 24 mm or 38 mm. Given the upward folds, when employing section bars with a finished seam thickness of 24 mm, there is a length reduction of approx. 75 mm each sheet. To allow a transversal expansion of sheets, upward folds are not fastened vertically. The 3-mm gap thus created absorbs the heat-provoked transversal expansion of sheets.
