Tante Lien roughly translates to a folksy, characterful woman. In Amsterdam she is often seen in old bars where she serves beer on tables covered with small Persian carpets. And there you have it! Sometimes inspiration for a product name comes from odd places, but inspiration for this carpet came easily. We updated and combined traditional medallion designs and gave them a bold teal accent colour. We made this carpet very comfortable by selecting soft viscose yarns for the weaving process. Tante Lien comes with greetings from Amsterdam!
