Pure innovation for the office
The LIGHT FIELDS lighting system designed by Sottsass Associati, a complete range fitted with micro-pyramidal optic, has been extended by the new MINI LIGHT FIELDS compact version.
The LIGHT FIELDS lighting system (design: Sottsass Associati) is unique in more than one way. Available with direct light distribution as a surface-mounted or recessed luminaire with direct/indirect lighting, as a pendant or free-standing luminaire, or as a cluster-like light field resembling the qualities of a skylight, LIGHT FIELDS represents a hitherto unknown complete range of innovative office lighting. What is new is MINI LIGHT FIELDS, with its compact dimensions of only 300 x 300 mm, a formal alternative to round downlights in shop areas, corridors and entrance areas.
Office work in the information age is largely done at the computer. Light reflections on screens and displays are very irritating in this context, diminishing concentration and causing mistakes. LIGHT FIELDS, however, is completely adapted to this "new work" setting. LIGHT FIELDS embodies a completely new technology: the micro-pyramidal optic.
