Exports represent 42% of the total turnover, which has grown by 16% during 2016, and confirm Simas’s vocation for international trade, both on traditional and emerging markets. For this reason, the company has obtained specific certifications for a wide range of its products, such as those required for the American and Australian market.

A market penetration strategy involving different countries, carried out through collaboration contracts with sales representatives, distributors and a competent team of new agents.

Simas was born in 1955 in Civita Castellana (VT) at a time when it was usual to create “family companies”, with "human capital" handed down from father to son. “In a world where it is increasingly difficult to differentiate, is a unique value to spend in international competition, with the commitment to a structured path where the reputation is not the end, but a mean to achieve business results" explains Alessandro Scopetti, General Manager of Simas spa, Vice President of the Executive Board of Confindustria Ceramica where he also represents the companies in the District Council area of Civita Castellana.
