Venesta

Who we are

After 100 years of innovation and design, we at Venesta live and breathe washrooms. Today, our cubicle systems continue to set the benchmarks for design, value and performance.

Our toilet cubicles and washroom systems combine cutting-edge innovation with superb performance and aesthetics, with solutions to satisfy the most demanding brief. All the fittings of our washroom cubicles are designed to fit with your requirements, in terms of both functionality and visual appeal. The same attention is applied to the materials and fittings we select.

We have been at the forefront of washroom design for many years. We pioneered Integrated Plumbing Systems, specifically created for the healthcare sector. We were the first to introduce aluminium fluted pilasters to cubicle systems, and we revolutionised education with our children’s height cubicle doors and digital screen prints.

We have always listened to our customers and encouraged feedback, in terms of cubicle design, materials used and value for money. This feedback has inspired our new range of commercial toilet cubicles and washroom systems, a range of products that once again move the washroom market forward.

Our values

Targeting zero waste

Waste is an inevitable part of any manufacturing process, but there are ways to ensure it doesn't become an environmental headache. For example, at Venesta, we've set ourselves the challenge of reducing waste in all areas, not only in manufacturing but also in our administration processes.

We've significantly invested in a programme of new recycling systems and equipment for all production waste. So far, this has allowed us to reduce our waste to landfill by 50%. That's not all. We're currently planning to extend our recycling and waste burning equipment which will mean we can achieve our objective of zero waste to landfill by 2016.

Managing our energy - Eliminating landfill

The cost of energy and the issue of carbon emissions are high on our environmental agenda and we're continually searching for ways to reduce energy consumption across all of our facilities. For example, our waste burning equipment diverts the heat it generates into fuel for our manufacturing site. This means we've been able to replace our conventional gas-fired heating systems, significantly reducing our heating usage and carbon emissions.

Reducing our travel - Decreasing carbon emissions

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our carbon footprint, we've undertaken to reduce employees' travelling time. All staff are encouraged to use public transport wherever possible and we've installed video conferencing facilities on all of our sites to allow meetings to be held without the need for travel.
