How to choose this product
A photovoltaic inverter is used to convert direct current generated by solar panels to alternating current, which can then fed into a private or commercial grid. On ArchiExpo, such devices are arranged by type or intended use.
These inverters are essential components in the generation of both domestic and commercial solar electricity. While single cells may be individually controlled by module or micro inverters, multiple cells are connected to a string inverter.
Larger, centralized systems use a single inverter for a series of strings. Those connected to an external utility grid require anti-islanding protection. This protects utility workers by preventing power from the photovoltaic system from entering the grid when there is an outage.
How to choose
Consider properties such as cost, efficiency, ease of installation and the need for other components, such as anti-islanding protection. Ensure that the power of the inverter matches that of the photovoltaic system. Determine the voltage requirements of computers, printers, household appliances and other devices to be supplied, and whether a single-phase or three-phase/multiphase system is more appropriate.
