Our welding helmet is suitable for quick welding tasks with a motion sensor that automatically turns on the welding filter when you pick up the helmet. Get lightweight eye and face protection for a range of welding applications, with 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet SL, 701120. Even with the auto-darkening filter included, it still weighs a total of just 370 g – that’s 25 % lighter than any other Speedglas model. Our helmet features a welding filter which offers five user selectable dark shades of 8 to 12 as well as four levels of arc sensitivity (switching light to dark state). It’s suited to most arc-welding processes, such as MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG and plasma welding. Designed specifically for quick welding tasks, a motion sensor automatically turns ON the welding filter when you pick up the helmet.
