Overview
Cardream3 is a user-friendly software for designing, printing and personalizing PVC cards, developed by A3M. It is compatible with most card printers on the market and includes an image-optimization engine to enhance colour print quality.

Main functions

• Place images and text directly on a visual card layout on screen.
• Import databases from Excel and Access (including photos and variable fields).
• Print PVC cards in monochrome or colour with common card printers (e.g.: Nisca, Evolis, Zebra Eltron, Fargo, Datacard, Magicard, Matica).
• Individual (card-by-card) or batch printing depending on the edition.
• Generate and print fixed or variable barcodes; supports common symbologies (EAN13, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 39, Codabar) and QR codes.

Encoding and cards

• Magnetic encoding module for ISO magnetic stripe cards.
• Smart card (chip) encoding support.
• Proximity RFID badge encoding (MIFARE ® and DESFire ®) available in specific editions.

Practical printing
Suitable for printing business cards, loyalty cards, membership cards, gift cards, staff ID, canteen or library cards and promotional cards in credit-card size (ISO 7810 / CR80).

• Evolis Zenius — cost-effective for small batches, annual volumes up to ~2,000 cards.
• Evolis Primacy2 — suitable for higher volumes (up to ~10,000 colour cards per year).

Cardream3 is offered in multiple editions to match requirements (single or batch printing, database import, RFID/magnetic encoding modules, etc.).
