Sturdiest construction make this our strongest chair. 01 Comfort The contoured seat is shaped to follow natural body lines while the back is designed to support your students where they need it. 02 Benefits The gooseneck-shaped chair back is designed for optimal back support and for secure upside-down stacking on desks. 03 Strength The 14-gauge steel back support (16-gauge on the 10", 12" and 14") and 16-gauge steel legs mated to 5 ⁄8" thick hard-plastic seat and back make this our strongest chair available. 04 Design This traditional design has been a staple of classrooms nationwide for more than 40 years. Designed to be stacked up to five chairs high for easy storage. General Specifications Back: 13⅛" wide by 6⅜" in length, 5⁄8" thick hard-plastic back. Seat: 510A- 12.5" x 15.5" All chairs 12"-14" in height have a hard plastic seat that is 13.5" wide and 13" in depth. All chairs 16"-19" are 15.75" wide and 15" in depth. All seats are ⅝" thick. Frame: Legs are two -1" round, 16-gauge chrome-plated steel welded together that form the four legs. Back support is 3⁄4" round, 14-gauge chrome-plated steel (16-gauge for 10", 12" and 14"), welded to bottom legs forming the frame. Glides: Self-adjusting nylon glides are standard.
