Containerised Bank for Christchurch Earthquake relief The ADDIS containerised Westpac Mobile Bank branch was set up at The Palms Shopping Centre Christchurch as a result of the Feb 22nd 2011 earthquake. It features two offices, reception area, internet banking terminal, ATM facility, and all the customer services available at a conventional Westpac branch. The unit has sliding security doors, is lined, insulated, air conditioned, with carpets, and finished inside and out to the high specification Westpac livery. Services and products included in the build are electrical with mains supply, battery, and generator options, LED lighting, comprehensive data capability, security systems, ATM installation, courtesy floodlighting, remote controlled extendable awnings and custom built partitions, furniture and fittings. The project met the NZ Building Code and other compliance requirements. Production time at the Addis Manukau plant was 16 days, and the unit was installed on the Christchurch site 2 day later.
