Overview Tambre is a washbasin that originates from the bathtub of the same name, reinterpreting its principles and language on a more compact scale. It is defined by a precise and controlled use of okoumé plywood: the wood’s warm tone and fine grain convey a restrained and intimate presence, while the construction — based on assembled planar elements — remains clearly defined.
Concept “From the bath to the basin, Tambre translates the same principle of continuity into a more essential form.”
Construction & Materials At each junction, solid wood inserts soften the transitions, giving continuity to the volume. The washbasin extends the same logic across multiple configurations and can be used independently or as part of a broader composition.
