Agglotech terrazzo-clad stairs are the embodiment of elegance in color for optical effects with a vintage flair.
Stair cladding is one of the common uses of Agglotech’s marble-cement terrazzo.
Our products are entirely made to order, including the ability to customize the type of finish:
• honed
• polished
• bush-hammered
• brushed
Agglotech technology produces agglomerate-clad stairs with custom designs and a range of new solutions. We can even sculpt staircases directly from a single block of terrazzo, one stunning example we are quite proud of being the theater staircase of London’s Royal Academy of Arts.
Our agglomerate of marble aggregate and cement ensure absolute stability in technical performance over time, as well as excellent self-cleaning properties, an aspect that is not to be underestimated. This material is also highly scratch resistant and has a low coefficient of thermal elasticity.
Agglotech has provided terrazzo cladding for staircases in a wide variety of colors and designs. The images below speak for themselves. See for yourself what great impact this material has had in recent projects such as London’s Tate Britain, Theater Gütersloh in Germany, the Mono in Stockholm, Sweden, the Grüne Mitte in Germany, and the University of Bolzano in Italy.
