The FLAME luminaire has been designed for operation in environments where an explosive atmosphere may form or be present in accordance with the ATEX 94/9/EC directive, by combining Enhanced Safety Protection “e” for gases and Protection by Enclosures “tb” for dust. In addition, the combination of flame retardant M1 polycarbonate and antistatic additives in the plastic of the lids makes it perfect for areas with a risk of explosion or fire.
