The wooden window AJM pasiv 90 is already in the basic version made with a three-layer glazing (Ug = 0.7 W/m2K), which provides excellent thermal and sound insulation. By choosing the proper insulating glass this window also represents a suitable solution for passive and low-energy construction.
With a profile width of 90 mm this window achieves maximum stability as well as a higher level of heat and sound insulation. The bottom and top edges of the profile have the same width, which gives a special aesthetic value in the form of the symmetrical adjusted shape of the window. A low casement and frame provide a greater glass surface, allowing that more sunlight gets into the room.
The window is made of Slovenian wood that is respected both at home and abroad. The final profile is surface-impregnated and protected by four layers of paint. Hidden hinges of the world renowned manufacturer Siegenia are installed inside the window.
Mechanical stability and increased insulation of the wooden window is achieved through modern technology – by bonding glass in the window casement. A dry seal is inserted on the inner side of the glass, which, unlike the use of silicone gives to the window an aesthetically adjusted appearance. Each wooden window is equipped with a high isolative batten to install the window sills, which in addition to improved insulation provides a stable position of the window in the window opening, accurate installation and improved positioning of the window sills.
