Albed's proposal for solutions door without basic frame with single frame jamb declined in the collection Céline. A response to design needs that allows the best integration with the most demanding interior lines and a careful balance between technical content, efficiency and ease of installation. The Céline system is based on the industrial windows of the early 20th century, bringing tradition into a contemporary setting. The minimal rectangular profile is fitted with aluminium plates that can hold combinations of glass with different finishes to form elegant decorative geometric features. This complete system satisfies multiple design needs, from classical hinged or sliding doors, through to real partition walls, thanks to the framing solution. The “frame jamb” system is a compact system, without a door counterframe, based on the partition wall system, which makes it possible to install a door in a finished opening of the correct size. It is particularly effective for blending with the furnishings, or when there are limited possibilities for internal work. It is fitted with external pivot hinges which enhance its clean lines, with the door opening 180° (pull opening) or 90° (push opening). Albed’s external pivot hinges are CATAS certified for 100,000 opening cycles for a 180° door. The door “without basic frame” is the ideal solution when architectural preparatory works cannot be done. The frame is fixed to the walls themselves, covering the architectural opening without any preparation. Double doors and doors with a transom are also available.
