Fluo comes from a Latin verb that means to slide, to glide, to flow, to move with lightness and elegance. And with these concepts of lightness and elegance the concealed sliding door Fluo by Aldena opens and closes.
Fluo is a sliding system made with thermal-break aluminium profiles, that guarantee a high thermal insulation and are characterised by high resistance and robustness, along with a reduced thickness to minimize visual clutter. The sash frame is concealed in the wall in order to be completely invisible.
Moving sashes can withstand up to 450 kg, allowing for the usage of energy-saving triple glazing with a low thermal transmittance. Glazing are glued to the profiles to avoid deformation.
With a glazing transmittance as low as 0.6 W/m²K, total thermal transmittance can reach 1.1 W/m²K. Profiles have a front thickness of 32 mm only, and lie on stainless steel tracks with low-friction ball bearings. The embedded water drainage system has a removable grid for an easy cleaning
