Nowadays parquet is not laid only inside home, it is always more used also outside. Four kinds of wood, carefully selected in order to guarantee stability and durability, available both in wood floor panels and wood floor blocks, they offer the possibility to choose among different solutions depending on aesthetic taste and laying methods. While outdoor wood floor blocks can be easily and quickly laid on all surfaces provided that they are leveled and beaten, the outdoor wood floor panels need a more complicated way of laying down, fixing them with clips and screws on a underlying structure made of wooden laths. All wooden elements for external use are supplied raw, without finish and for this reason need more attention in comparison with parquet for internal use. All kinds of wood which are exposed to weather conditions tends to become grayish. In order to avoid this effect it is recommended to apply special products which let the wooden products resume their natural colour. For a optimal durability it is recommended to apply impregnating products which protects wood because they absorb it after application. This application has to be done with variable frequency depending on frequency of wear and weather conditions.
