Description

Seat of minimal dimensions especially designed for conference halls, theatres and auditorium. Seat made of beech plywood core, 12mm thick; backrest made of metal plate core, 4mm thick, in order to achieve a correct folding. Both seat and backrest have beech plywood acting as a trim cover, 12mm thick and finished with 2 layers of polyurethane varnish. The automatic tip-up mechanism rotates seat and backrest to the fold position when the seat is vacated, by means of a connecting rod system. Upholstery of seat and backrest made of open-cell polyurethane foam, covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics with an additional underlying M-1 layer. Both fabrics and fireproof layer comply with legal regulations UNE-EN 1021: 1994, part 1 & 2. If the seat is to be fixed directly to the pavement, sidearms are made of two welded steel tubes of 120x40mm. One of them is mechanized to lodge the folding system. Fixing to the floor is achieved by means of a steel plate support onto which sidearms are welded. If the seat is to be fixed onto continuous cross-beams (in banks) on a rail system, sidearms are made of only one steel tube. Wood or metallic boards can be placed at end rows acting as trim covers. The whole set is finished with epoxy powder coating. Armrests made of solid beech wood finished with two layers of polyurethane varnish.
