Overview Levra is a human-centered task chair family that redefines seated comfort through innovative materials and engineering. The design emphasizes light, adaptive support, precision knitting, and an intuitive adjustment experience to provide continuous, multi-posture comfort without rigid pressure points.
Innovations - The Frameless Back Support: a frameless, suspended back that delivers light, architectural support that moves with the body. Precision knitting provides strength, structure, and flexibility while maintaining a refined uninterrupted form.
- The Y-Lumbar System: an adaptive internal structure that contours to the body to deliver continuous lumbar support through posture changes without manual adjustment.
- The Adjustment Experience: an effortless, intuitive control system with fluid 4D+ arms, discreet micro-adjustments, and intentionally placed controls for natural personalization that minimizes visual and physical clutter.
Color Story The collection is offered in an array of curated colorways across textiles and finishes, presented as a coherent color story to support varied workplace palettes and applications.
Sustainability Levra integrates multiple sustainability strategies and verified certifications:
- Third-Party Certified: every ingredient has been screened (Declare) and Levra holds certifications such as Declare, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, and BIFMA® LEVEL 3.
- Precision-Knit Back: produced through a zero-waste knitting process and made from 100% recycled materials (up to ~96% post-consumer recycled polyester plus up to ~4% upcycled marine yarn in some constructions).
- Carbon Neutrality: full-chair Levra models are carbon neutral, measuring cradle-to-grave emissions and offsetting via third-party verified carbon credits.
- High Recycled Content: structural components such as the back upright, arm uprights, and base are made with very high recycled content by weight (reported up to 98% recycled content in those components).
- Replaceable Parts: common wear items—casters, cylinders, seat pads, and arm pads—are orderable and simple to swap, improving longevity and reducing landfill waste.
Designer Levra is designed in collaboration with ITO Design, a multinational industrial design studio known for award-winning seating solutions and a practical, technically grounded design approach.
Media & Resources The Levra introduction is supported by a lookbook/video, a brochure, a sustainability flyer, a configurator for specifying options, and an extensive image gallery illustrating applications and finish options.
