Casement windows are hinged on the side and open outward to the left or right, allowing you to catch breezes and direct the flow of fresh air into your home. Usually taller than they are wide, their entire sash opens to provide top-to-bottom ventilation. This also makes them a frequent choice for use as egress windowsones that can be used as an emergency exit. Andersen® A-Series complementary casement windows offer easy operation along with old-world style. They include French casements (twin sash inside of one frame with no mullion bar between them), which gives you a completely unobstructed view. Our A-Series complementary casement windows are available in rectangles and a variety of arched shapes.
