Magnovent’s solar thermal heating system is the perfect solution to efficiently heat any industrial or commercial premises. The use of solar collectors for heating will increase the comfort of workers or customers.
- Solar air wall heating
This innovative solar heating system provides warm air without wasting energy or generating CO2, as it uses the heat generated by the sun to heat the air that will then be introduced into the building. In addition, the solar heating system generates an insulating barrier of warm air that prevents cold air from entering through the walls.
Solar air heating can be used as a stand-alone heating system or in combination with existing heating systems to reduce their energy consumption and increase their lifetime.
The solar wall is able to obtain air at a temperature up to 50°C higher than the ambient temperature. A fan with an EC motor pushes this warm air through air ducts into the building or into existing air-conditioning systems. Up to 150 m³ can be heated per square metre.
- ENERGY SAVINGS: Perfect replacement for traditional HVAC systems or to decrease their load
- COMFORT: Creates an insulating heat barrier on the facade and heats the inside of the building
- ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: No CO2 emissions because it only uses natural heat generated by the sun
Functioning of the solar air heating system for facades
Solar air heating is based on a perforated solar collector that allows fresh air to be drawn in from the environment and trapped between the building façade and the heating system structure. The sun heats the trapped air, which is then sucked in by a fan and fed through ducts installed inside the industrial building.
The heating system generates 810 Wh per m² certified by SolarKeymark.
Combination of solar collectors with heat pumps and central ventilation units
In buildings using solar thermal heating systems, the use of a solar air heater integrated in the wall offers significant advantages. This type of collector ensures that the air captured by the air conditioning machine is warmer than the surrounding air, providing a more comfortable temperature. As a result, a significant reduction in energy consumption is achieved. This not only prolongs the lifetime of the system, but also reduces maintenance costs, making solar collectors for heating a sustainable and economical option.
During the summer, this air-conditioning system can draw air from an alternative intake.
Process heating with solar heating
Solar heating is an efficient and sustainable solution for heating industrial processes. The hot air from our collector is added to the production process, avoiding the use of fossil fuels to heat it and achieving significant savings. This not only contributes to reducing costs, but also to reducing the impact of industrial activity on the environment.
Each square metre of collector generates 150 m³/h of hot air, providing a constant supply of thermal energy for different applications on the production line.
Installation and integration of the Magnovent solar heating system
The Magnovent solar air heating system is easy to install and integrates perfectly into any concrete, stone, metal or sandwich panel wall. The perforated collectors are mounted on vertical columns on guides previously screwed to the wall. The weight of the solar collector is only 9.5 kg/m².
