2-way coaxial, bass reflex Passive crossover - mono amp 1 x 8" ferrite cone driver (2" coil) 1 x 1" ferrite HF driver (1,75" coil) The DX8 is an ultra-compact loudspeaker using the coaxial technology providing a wide and perfectly coherent sound field even in near-field applications. The DX8 covers a wide range of applications: sound reinforcement for small and mid-sized venues; distributed sound for large open spaces; delay or in-fill for high-power PA systems, and more. Its compact dimensions and crystalline clarity make it ideal for applications where discretion needs be combined with high quality sound reproduction. The choice of a "pure" coaxial configuration (no horn) and acoustic baffling with no side flanks limits distortion and diffraction. Thus the DX8 features a very high level of sonic accuracy and optimized gain before feedback. The DX8 offers a host of ergonomic features which provide total flexibility between both stage monitoring and FoH applications, with or without subwoofers. DX8 can be used on the ground as a wedge monitor, for front fill or stacked vertically for FoH applications. It can also be pole-mounted or indeed wall or ceiling-mounted using the optional ETDX8 bracket. The removable QRFS30 rigging accessory allows for quick and intuitive flying complete with an indexing function of the vertical angle. As a stage monitor, the DX8 is both discreet and effective in theatres, TV studios, conference rooms, etc. Combined with APG subwoofers, it provides a powerful compact system for sound reinforcement in small venues or theatres and performance spaces as well as conferences, exhibitions and fashion shows.
