Vacuum forming and silk, i8"x63", 45x160cm, 2 x T5 bulb dimmable With its modernist shapes the new Mino lighting pieces are a perfect complement to Aquas existing silk lighting collections. Mino adds streamlined, geometric shapes to the ateliers range of floor lamps. The pieces may also be looked at as light screens and the biggest shade can act as a room divider for larger spaces. For the first time Aqua has taken its iconic silk material and applied it to a newly designed lamp structure. Instead of sculpting the silk on hand bent metal, it is sculpted over a specially developed polycarbonate vacuum formed shell lit with energy saving CFL bulbs. Another special feature of this collection is the option of two silk colors in one shade. The shape together with the envelope silk draping, gives the shades an elegant yet humble expression.
