We believe that design has always channeled and reflected what is going on around us, and in That’s Life, we feel that we have captured recent history and tipped our hat to a past style. With the high cushions, angular armrests, and the low seating position, this is a sofa that oozes classic New York jazz lounge and modernist interpretations of design. We have added a place to add either a marble or wooden top table on the armrests and we have been inspired by triangular geometry providing a functional form in what is a soft furnishing. Described as, “the ultimate ode to resilience” is there no more of a befitting way to create something that captures the spirit of a song, and of a global coming together than with the words of old, Blue Eyes? Like the song says, “I pick myself up and get back in the race” this sofa is our way of showing us all that we can. STRUCTURE: wood. FRAME UPHOLSTERY: multi-density expanded polyurethane (D30 + D40) covered with synthetic lining 230gr and coupled synthetic lining 6mm. SEAT UPHOLSTERY: expanded polyurethane D30 and memory foam covered with synthetic lining 200gr. BACK CUSHION UPHOLSTERY: downproof 100% cotton cover filled with virgin feathers and inner core in expanded polyurethane (D18/M). SPRINGING: elastic belts. ARM HEIGHT: 62cm. FEET: metal, finishes: black nickel or varnished micaceous brown.
