Murano Glass Chalcedony is a type of glass characterized by a unique, iridescent surface that is created by adding metal flakes to the glass mixture. The result is a piece of glass that appears to have a shimmering or shimmering effect, with swirls of various colors running through it.
Particularly difficult to create, chalcedony glass has the peculiarity of combining silver salts and other coloring oxides with the canonical melt of the glass: it is this extraordinary chemical process, together with the talent of the Murano masters, that allows the creation of marvelous works dark matt background streaked with enchanting warm and dark tones, a real whirlwind of lights and shadows capable of enrapturing even the eyes of the most expert observer in fantastic swirls.
