Lightness redefined. Aloa is a simple and elegant family of chairs and bar stools with an upholstered seat and back, supported by a graphic metal frame. Highly comfortable, Aloa fits perfectly around a dining table, at a restaurant or a meeting setting at the office. The inspiration lies in an interplay between soft and solid materials. ‘The metal backrest is pressed into the soft, supportive back cushion, creating an intriguing image which is similar to pushing the two elements into each other. Visualizing both structure and comfort at the same time,’ explains designer Khodi Feiz. ‘The back support cradles the backrest, and in turn the chair cradles the user.’ Product details The Aloa programme consits of a chair, a chair with armrest and three bar stools with a fixed seat height (60, 70 or 80 cm). The Aloa programme is highly versatile and can be used in a variety of settings. It is perfectly suited to a conference table, desk, dining table or bistro table, both at home and at work. Extensive programme of colours and fabrics, both in fabric and leather. Duo-upholstery is an option, with the seat and backrest in different colours. Alternatively, the inner and outer surface can be upholstered in different colours. Tubular frame and four-legged base is finished in powder coating.
