A simple idea Plug Lamp is design by the Stockholm-based design studio Form Us With Love for ateljé Lyktan. And it does exactly what its name suggests. “This was a really simple idea”, says John Löfgren. “We wanted to create a lamp with the added bonus of an electrical socket”. Whether it is to charge a mobile phone, computer, tablet or camera, we constantly seem to be on the look-out for electric points when we are on the go. Material & design Plug Lamp has that unmistakable Form Us With Love signature – a strong, graphic form that clearly communicates its purpose. The final product is an iconic luminaire that will adorn its surroundings and assist its consumers in equal measures. Features Integrated socket By integrating the socket in the lamp it also takes away that annoying procedure of searching for a socket or having to unplug something in order to access an electrical point. Light source As for the lamp function, the E27 socket accommodates a variety of light sources, from LED to regular light bulbs. The lamp is also dimmable.
