A ceiling luminaire with a twist
“Some types of lamps will always exist – the flat ceiling luminaire is one of them,” says the designer Torbjörn Eliasson. With Kit, his series of lamps for ateljé Lyktan, Torbjörn Eliasson has given the classic form a subtle twist, without undermining its simple and elegant proportions.
“Kit is quite archetypal. However, we have tried to develop the form a bit,” explains Torbjörn Eliasson. Kit has a slightly concave underside, which makes it a classic plafond lamp with an original detail and special character.
