A portable camp fire ”The simplicity is important. It shouldn’t feel too high-tech”, says designer Mårten Cyrén as he reflects on the shape of Tipi. Tipi is a floorlight for both outdoor and indoor use, made from slats of heat-treated ash wood. The handle and top part are made of aluminium. The inspiration for the lamp originates from the Swedish North, among the sticks and twigs and soothing sounds of the Swedish woods. Material & design There is a choice of two sizes: 740 and 530 mm high. The round handle on top makes it easy to move around. “There is something about its height and glow that reminds me of a camp fire”, says Cyrén. “A portable camp fire”. Assembly Tipi is delivered unassembled together with an accompanying description of how to easily assemble it into a finished fixture.
