Overview
The Bandalux outdoor zip roller shade for large-format installations. Designed for dimensions up to 7.5 m (width) x 5 m (drop) and surfaces up to 37.5 m², offering blackout capability, insect protection options and Airpure® finishes.

Performance and dimensions
Supports surfaces up to 37.5 m² (example: 7.5 m x 5 m). Wind resistance validated by internal tests up to 120 km/h. Combined with dark screen fabrics, the exterior blackout system can reduce air-conditioning energy use by up to 70% by limiting solar gain.

Installation
Modular design allows independent installation of side guides and headbox. Headbox-free configuration is available with the roller tube exposed and fitted with specific covers. The new XXL bottom bar includes side caps for easy assembly and maintenance.

Guides and fabric alignment
Telescopic aluminium side guides with zip system maintain fabric tension and prevent misalignment. Both external and internal guides are aluminium for durability and system stability.

Finish and design
Maximised screw concealment and colour-coordinated covers ensure a uniform aesthetic. The redesigned side guide further conceals the zip to improve light blocking and visual integration.

Operation and noise reduction
Designed for motorised operation. Damping elements in the bottom bar and a bi-component motor support reduce vibration transmission for smoother, quieter movement. Side caps include damping foam strips to limit noise on contact with guides.

Mosquito protection and fabric options
Available with mosquito-net fabric for insect protection without compromising visibility or ventilation. Digital print options and large-dimension fabrics are available to meet architectural and aesthetic requirements.

Air purification and smart integration
Optional Airpure® coating uses mineral oxides activated by light to help purify air. Integrates with Bandalux LYNX smart control for remote operation, voice control compatibility and building automation.
