Styrodur NEO sets new standards in sustainable and energy-efficient thermal insulation of buildings.
The patented BASF solution with graphite inside makes this improvement possible. Similar to Neopor®, which was invented in 1995, it absorbs
and reflects graphite radiant heat and improves the thermal insulation performance. This gives Styrodur NEO also its silver-gray color.
Styrodur C stands for compressive strength, minimal water uptake and low net weight, the synonym for XPS in Europe.
This makes Styrodur NEO the ideal insulation material for cavity wall insulation, interior insulation of exterior walls, basement ceiling insulation, floor insulation under screed, or for the purpose of attic
The graphite used in Styrodur NEO not only gives the material its silver-gray color, but above all reduces its thermal conductivity. The fine
graphite particles absorb and reflect the thermal radiation, which provides for an even lower energy consumption.
