The Dimout darkening fabrics are probably the most extensive range of woven 300 cm wide blackout fabrics for floor-to-ceiling processing. Dimout qualities are usually woven from permanently flame retardant quality yarns and thus not only meet all international flame retardancy standards, but also guarantee a high light fastness. By using black weft yarn on the inside, the Dimout quality achieves an average darkening effect of at least 95%. Another advantage for the use of our Dimout qualities are the excellent room acoustic properties, which in some cases even meet the requirement of sound absorption class A. Ecologically sustainable production procedures pursuant to “Ökotex 100” meet the high quality requirements that are defined under the general standard for bautex-stoffe fabrics. Dimout fabrics are washable at 30°C, and for the “HealthCare” range at 60°C (approx. 1% shrinkage).
