Dalí translated his ideas into liveable designs such as the Rinoceróntico handle.
Dalí collaborated with Jean Michel Frank on the Rinoceróntico. It has a polished and lacquered cast brass body that can be fitted to both sides of a door or used as a standalone piece. Its three components are fitted together for an ergonomic hold, and their forms resemble a Rhinoceros and Dalí’s characteristic crutch. It holds his symbolism, focus on artisanal craft, and a touch of wit, separating the boundary between aesthetics and function.
