High strength LED technology: superior performance, compact size, more features The product concept is based on a revolutionary optical system with 4 precision lenses, which allows for the power of the LEDs to be fully exploited: this is the first time ever that a device has been constructed in accordance with the highest-performance LEDs available. The main feature of the UpLED is the superb illumination it provides, whilst maintaining extremely compact dimensions. The 24-36 W version provides 450 lumens of light, and is just 20 mm thick. In the interests of multi-functionality, UpLED is the first signage lighting appliance which allows for two signs of different sizes to be used on the same product, for visibility distances of 20 or 30 metres. This highly-innovative system, which is totally unprecedented in the safety signage sector, is designed both to illuminate the sign in a powerful, uniform manner and to direct a beam of light at the ground, illuminating the emergency exit below the device. Last but not least, we come to the mechanical features of this device: despite its somewhat minimalist appearance and compact size (the smallest in its category), the O-ring mounting systems, the housing of the device and the connection accessories ensure that the UpLED offers IP65-grade protection, and IK07 shock resistance over time.
