Slate originating from China, basic grey-green colour with a naturally rough, but relatively smooth riven surface.
As the name stoneskin suggests, this finish is achieved by using the skin of natural stone which is then manufactured into a cladding. The crust or edges of slabs are cut in fine strokes of about 1.5 to 3 cm thick and then combined into a border of 60 x 15 cm (Z-shaped). In addition external corner pieces are available (also Z-shaped 33x15cm sold separately - 2 pieces make one corner).
The result is a very easy to install natural stone element that can be used for wall cladding either outside or inside. Installation needs to be done with a special adhesive, e.g. Beltraflex.
