The Iggy modular sofa goes beyond the simple concept of a sofa, representing a revolution in design and manufacturing by combining comfort, technological innovation, and customization.
Created by Castello Lagravinese Studio, Iggy is the result of 18 months of research and development. With 25 different elements—seating systems, backrests, and armrests—designed to combine endlessly, the Iggy modular sofa adapts perfectly to your space, style, and needs. The project also includes the Dive Console to enhance modularity.
The elliptical-shaped wooden feet are made with computer numerical control, and the special Iggy Grey coating with a metallic effect enhances its curves. The seat is made from layers of polyurethane foam of different densities, while its structure is composed of folded sheet metal with corner joints in Baydur. The anchoring strap system is designed to give the seat perfect comfort in any position.
The polyurethane perimeter boxing ensures solid and durable support over time, thanks to the folded sheet metal covered in polyurethane. The top part of the surface consists of two centimeters of memory foam. The back cushion is entirely made of channeled goose down, ensuring absolute comfort.
The "soap bar" shape of the backrests and armrests is achieved using cold-cured polyurethane foam molds with a metal insert, guaranteeing perfect curved lines and a soft sensation to the touch.
Iggy is made without protruding metal parts and assembled with the innovative Berto Eco Seal Master gluing machinery, which eliminates the use of harmful solvent-based glues, respecting the environment and user well-being.
