The classic among dry fills. The BISOTHERM® Bio dry fill is a volcanic-aluminum-silicate rock of inorganic origin. The officially approved dry filling (according to DIN 18560-2) can be used independently from the system. When poured, it results in a seamless layer of insulation with application leads remaining within the fill without a problem. The BISOTHERM® Bio dry fill can be installed in any thickness using slight compression, making uneven ceilings or floors level. Before the installation of the screed it is possible to walk on the dry fill. Under dry screed elements and floor heating elements, we recommend covering the dry fill with a soft wood fiber insulation board. This results in a very good pressure distribution and visibly relieves working in the space. The BISOTHERM® Bio dry fill improves sound insulation. The impact sound Lw, p is 25 dB measured in the experimental setup.
