Steam cooking has long been a standard in catering. And thanks to modern appliance technology, this gentle cooking method has also found its way into the private domestic kitchen – after all, it offers many advantages. And so that the preparation and presentation of the dishes is as easy as it is quick, BLANCO has now developed a granite sink that combines beautifully with steam cooking accessories. Carefully planned to the smallest detail - for the perfect interplay between sink and steamer: Step in the bowl for hanging GN steamer dishes Generous drainer area for holding GN and XL steamer dishes Movable chopping board for working directly into the hanging GN steamer dishes The accessories included in the delivery provide effective support for efficient working – and they look good, too. A movable chopping board - optionally in black frosted safety glass or ash compound - facilitates easy preparation on several levels. So, for instance, the prepared ingredients can be be moved directly from the chopping board into the steamer dishes. At 65 mm, the two high-quality GN steamer dishes (1/2 and 1/3) are in fact a little lower than most dishes supplied with these appliances. The additional perforations on the sides of the BLANCO accessories ensure that the contents cook evenly.
