Fiocco is a decorative headboard that originates from the desire to go beyond the traditional perception of this element, making it an active and versatile presence, capable of adapting to the needs of those who experience it, thanks to the foldable wooden sails that introduce a new way of interacting with the bed and the surrounding space. The choice of materials accompanies the design dialogue between Bolzan and the designer: made of CNC machined wood with a solid elm and walnut edge, the headboard features edges and curves crafted by hand with a multilayer technique that defines its sinuosity. The surfaces are treated with an oil that enhances the material quality of the wood, protecting it over time.
