Made of 'glassy paste', a type of opaque, brightly coloured glass used for decorative elements, they look like real flowers just blooming in a field of wheat. The 'balloton' decoration is typical of Murano chandeliers: thanks to a metal mould onto which incandescent glass is poured, that particular cross-embossed effect is achieved.
