Description
William De Morgan was one of the most original craftsmen of the Arts and Crafts Movement. From 1859 he studie painting at the Royal Academy but moved quickly into the field of design applying his skills to the production of stained glass and ceramics. This design, the most widely recognised from De Morgan, and the most faithful to the original, emulates the detail from the original brushstrokes.
