Broadleaf Silvered Vintage Oak Parquet flooring was inspired by the elegant apartments of the Paris Opera district, built in the heyday of Haussman. Their subtle silver grey shades of these blocks are instantly evocative of period Parisien chic, and create elegant parquet floors with a light calm feel and a delicate hint of timeless glamour. Our Silvered Vintage Oak Parquet floors are beautifully aged with authentic, gently worn edges, a slightly distressed surface and a tactile, soft patina. They are available in a choice of blocks or chevrons, both superbly machined from the finest European Oak from Elegance grade timber which features some colour variation and small knots. Silvered Vintage Oak Parquet floors are supplied semi finished to be topcoated after installation with our durable, Classic Hardwax Oil so that edges cut during fitting are fully sealed. With no need for sanding they are much easier and less expensive to fit than traditional parquet blocks.
