Heat exchanger HDU 1

The Greenstar Heat Distribution Unit (HDU), also known as a Heat Interface Unit (HIU), provides domestic hot water (DHW) and space heating to properties that are serviced from district heating or centralised boiler plants. Further information Comprising of two heat exchangers, the HIU provides instant domestic hot water at a regulated temperature and the second for space heating within the property. The unit is indirect so the primary heating circuit is hydraulically separated from the property space heating by a plate heat exchanger. The unit operates only when DHW or space heating is required ensuring energy efficient operation. The HIU also comes complete with a first fix rail which allows for the system to be pre-plumbed before the unit is installed. The unit is available in two versions, with or without a heat meter.
