The 4plus eaves unit is a prefabricated plastics unit comprising a ventilated eaves batten, with or without eaves comb filler, which provides for additional ventilation between the roof tiling and weather skin. It serves to replace the second eaves batten. Available in two separate models, the 4plus eaves unit is able to accommodate any type of clay and concrete roof tiling. The model without an eaves comb filler is suitable for flat tiles while that with an eaves comb filler is used with profiled tiles. The underside spacer nibs serve to accommodate the thickness of the gutter brackets, thereby eliminating the time and effort otherwise needed to recess these. Should the positions of brackets and nibs coincide or overlap, the nibs can simply be hammered in.
