Maintenance

• Corten steel: forms a stable rust patina that protects the steel. Initial runoff of rust particles may occur—avoid draining over light-coloured paving.
• Black-lacquered steel: wet-lacquered finish (RAL 9005 semi-matt). Attractive but more sensitive than corten—avoid scratches and clean with mild soap and a soft cloth.
• In frost conditions, empty or reduce water level to prevent ice pressure against the sides.
