DESIGN YOUR CARPET: The process of customizing a hand knotted carpet: - Select an existing design, request changes or variations to an existing design (change of pattern, content, construction, border or color), or request a custom design. - Specify shape and dimension wide - Select colors from color plain (samples of colored wool) or provide samples of the colors the client wants to match - A color rendering of the custom coloration or design will be provided free of charge to the client for approval prior to production of the strike-off - A strike-off (woven sample measuring plain cm 15x15 and design cm 40x40) of the design will be provided to confrirm carpet design, scale and coloration. Lead time for a strike-off is 6 weeks. 50% of the total cost must be paid in advance as confirmation of order - Final production, after strike-off approval, depending on the fineness of weave (knot count), number of colors used, intricacy of design and the size of the carpet. The delivery of a custom order takes between 3 to 6 months Since the carpets are handmade, drawing proportions and colors shade can have a variability of 10% from a carpet to another and this is a precious feature beacuse attests the originality of the manufacturing.
