The flat is located in a classic, stone building in Paris overlooking the Eiffel tower. The approximately 350 square metre surface features generous volumes and decorative elements characteristic of the 18th century such as: decorative cornices, lacunar ceilings, ceilinghung lighting and marble fireplaces. The flat is on the top floor and has a large balcony that overlooks the road. The owners of the flat collect works of art and contemporary furniture and wanted to renovate it without detracting from its style. The Decò collection gave each room in the home a cohesive, coherent, uninterrupted style. The project’s approach deeply respects the existing architecture, setting off the importance of volumes and the possibility of obtaining unique yet inviting spaces dedicated to each function. Notwithstanding the distinctive features of the flat characterized by medium grey and air-force grey coloured paintings, there is a warm atmosphere achieved by using various shades of distressed oak wood. Harmony of materials is based on elegance and refinement, including marble and gold finish brass details that are also distinctive of Callesella, a company that works to create cohesive homes.
