Description

The newest London residences is the Lansbury, an eight storey, 15,000 square foot development overlooking Harrods. Taking luxury to the next level, these apartments are designed for buyers that want a quick acquisition and seamless service at the top level.

CANAL Architectural was called up to fabricated and install the stunning bronze finished helical staircase running through the duplex apartment. The mild steel helical staircase structure was manufactured and fabricated in the workshop, Nottingham, where the solid 20mm square bar balustrade was also fabricated to ensure the perfect fit.

On site in London, the metal stair and balustrade was completely welded and installed, which was finished with a leather clad tubular handrail and the staircase sprayed in a bronze finish.

With the helical staircase now in place and fully installed, timber treads matching the apartment flooring were applied. Final touches included 15mm low iron toughened glass balustrade panels were installed for a contemporary feel that is not visual impairing to the surrounding environment.

According to current figures, prices start at £3,650,000 for a duplex apartment, while the penthouse will set you back £12.5 million. Taking into consideration the location size, it works out at around £4,000 per square foot – almost double the price of the average Knightsbridge home.
