Description

Vetonek Terrazzi slabs measure 120x40x2 cm and are made of artificial stone, with a cement agglomerate and natural aggregates, coloured with metallic oxide pigments. We currently have 2 different models available: – Terrazzi Hawaii, composed of a cement base with white pigments and Hawai gravel, our best seller in the Mixcolor range. – Terrazzi Pétalos de pizarra, made with a cement base with black pigments and crushed slate, from our Recycla range. It is mass-produced and moulded into a cube 2.5 metres long and weighing 10,000 kg. The filling process is carried out in a closed chamber with vacuum, combined with vibration, which eliminates air pockets in the mixture and ensures perfect distribution of the aggregates. Once the filling process is finished, an internal pressure is established, with alternative vibration during the setting time, which allows the drainage of the excess water from the concrete, obtaining the maximum possible compaction of the product. Once the block has hardened, it is sawn, cut and treated on the surface according to the described measurements. These surface treatments allow it to be used safely outdoors, and it also has a brushed finish, which allows it to be used in paving, steps, garden paths, etc.
